First, the dream. Then courage and daring. This is how the achievements come about. This is how the School Create and Recreate began to exist. The dream of a young woman, recently graduated in Psychology, Maceió 1988, became a reality. Delane Medeiros Valente bet on what he wanted, overcome barriers, innovated in the way of educating and brought to all of us the fun school, with the apprentice being also protagonist. The School Create and Recreate exists, above all, to teach the pleasure that is to learn. Read below "chapters" of this story and see how much love has happened!
How it all began - Delane Medeiros Valente was 25 years old when he decided to begin his experiences in the world of education in Alagoas. Newly married and the mother of two girls, she had just graduated in Psychology. He wanted to find a school to enroll his oldest daughter, who was two years old at the time, in 1988.
In her mother-in-law's garage - Delane then decided to open her own school. He wanted to put into practice everything he saw in college, to experience "Constructivism," the theories that regard psychology as fundamental to the learning process. She wanted to combine learning in the classroom with the phases of each child's psychological advancement. The psychologist who later specialized in Psychopedagogy and School Administration formed her first group in the garage of the mother-in-law's house, Dona Lúcia, in the vicinity of Tomás Espíndola Avenue, in Farol. Panfletou in the neighborhood, invited friends and family to enroll the children and the number of children was growing. The rooms were without partitions, without windows, in the open air. The classes were multiplying. Delane, an employee of the state attorney general's office, realized that her life was there. Resolved once in the area of education. In August of 2017, its trajectory completes 29 years!
Childhood Inspiration - Delane's passion for education began when she was a child, a student at the Good Counsel College in Bebedouro. From loving the classroom, the school environment, I wanted to be an intern. But the vacancies at the boarding school were for students from the interior. Practicante of Rhythmic Gymnastics in the College, gained prominence in the sport modality that yielded to him some medals in the selection Alagoana. It was years of experience that went beyond the junior phase. She was trained by Josefa Alves today, in her early 70s, still active. Jôse, as he is known, is an inspiration in Delane's life and currently presides over the Alagoan Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics. Thanks to the Gymnastics, Delane managed to be semi-internal and because of the sport she spent all day in the College, a great pleasure for her. He is his master to this day.
Foreign Experiences - When Delane was traveling on vacation with her family, to the United States or Europe, she had no one to change her mind. Some show with her two daughters and her husband would be missing. While they visited the "postcards," she took another turn: the schools! And it was visiting the "first world" schools that Delane observed many practices he brought to the Create and Recreate School. One example is full-time education and also pedagogical expeditions. She was delighted to see the foreign school emptied because the pupils, for example, had gone to Japan to get close to Eastern culture.
Arrival at Tomás Espíndola - Delane saw the school grow up in her mother-in-law's garage and she had to change her address. She was very young and at that time the decision was risky. He would leave the security of his in-laws' home, where he would not pay rent, water, energy, to open his own business. Faced with the resistance of the family, but followed the intuition. I felt like I needed to grow up. That's when he installed the Create and Recreate School in the place where it works today, next to the Unicompra, on Tomás Espíndola Avenue. At the new address, the psychopedagogue began another series of experiences, always going against the traditional method of teaching, still practiced by most private schools and the public network in Maceió.
Children's Judo is a great sport for a 4- to 7-year-old to start practicing, or later (the sooner the better, just that) so she can start to have some values she would not have so quickly without the practice of a sport.
Indoor soccer is football adapted to practice on a sports court by teams of only 5 players. Due to the proportions of the playing area, the smaller number of players and the ease of playing a match, futsal is already considered by many to be the most practiced sport in Brazil, surpassing the soccer that is still the most popular football. In Futsal, the child develops team spirit, improves motor skills and physical conditioning, and has fun, learning to win and lose, always sharing responsibility with the group. (Source: Wikipedia).
