The joke is this: read at least 100 books during the year. Great people play? No, no. Child thing. Maybe that's why, in the School Create and Recreate, it works very well. Not surprising. I'm talking about the School of Readers project. A kind of challenging, enjoyable, adventure-filled and rewarding game that started in 2009. The start was given and from there, only the number of champions apprentices grew.
He passed the mark of 50 the number of children who reached the goal. In 2012 alone, twenty-seven apprentices were awarded the "Golden Book". In 2013, another 15 received the award - a special book that for those who enjoy reading, there is no greater pleasure in winning. A hardcover book, in golden color, with yet another adventure in the pages to be enjoyed.

ACADEMY CREATING LETTERS

Each book read has a score. The more complex the more points the reading yields to the learner. In 2013, the challenge was even greater. In addition to reading 100 books, children who could surpass the 150-point mark would have guaranteed admission to the "Academia Crear de Letras". Among the advantages, is the gratuity of the first Pedagogical Expedition. Six apprentices have achieved the feat and are now founders of the Writing Academy. During the year they will continue to be challenged, assuming gradually the responsibility of multipliers of the taste for reading. An experience that is only beginning this year of 2014. THE DISCOVERY OF THE TASTE FOR READING

In the 365 days of the year, the winners do not waste time. They take advantage while they are in school and enjoy the vacant hours at home for the delight of traveling through a hundred stories and meeting different characters. They discover that the book is indeed a precious companion, for a lifetime, regardless of age, regardless of subject. The cool thing is to read. And end of chat. Not because the teacher rules. But because life gets even better! Doubt? Enter the game. And there for December you tell me!

The competition is not against each other, there is no dispute between colleagues. Just the incentive for commitment to reading. An incentive that only the Team Build and Recreate can develop. An incentive for the way it should be, as it must be: here, at school, more than learning to read, the child learns to enjoy reading.

Just watching the aptitude of the apprentice throughout the year to see the result. No use counting. The transformation is day by day, reading invades the house, the apprentice becomes multiplier. Ask parents who have passed the 100 book mark. What can be said is that encouragement has nothing to do with pressure, but with love, with respect and with the conviction that the human being, citizen, committed to a better world, is inevitably a reader. A reader not out of obligation, but out of pleasure, into necessity.
